Thank you to all of our families who contributed to our Advent Outreach Project. The kindergarten team collected over 160 boxes to donate to Operation Christmas Child - our class alone collected 26 boxes!
We will be having an addition to our class starting on Friday. Our newest class members are of the claw variety - we will have two hermit crabs as our class pets. We are sure that your children will fill you in on all the details but please look for further updates in the next few weeks as we come to know our new friends!
Wed. Nov. 27- Mr. Labrash's class is visiting to teach us about the WITS Program. They will be performing a few skits and then reading us a story - we will tweet Wed. afternoon about what we have learned.
This Friday Nov. 29 is Jersey Day - students are encouraged to wear their favourite team jersey. There is also a News Show Friday afternoon. We will be 'buddying up' with a Grade 4 class and watching the entire News Show!
Stay safe - the white stuff may be beautiful to look at and play in but we want everyone travelling in vehicles and by foot to be careful! Information about bus cancellation will be available by 6 a.m. on our Board website as well as St. Gabriel's website.
