May will be a very busy month!
Education Week runs from May 5-9 (the St. Gabriel Book Fair runs all week)
May 5 - Muffin Breakfast, Open House & News Show
May 7 - Double Lunch Day (please send an extra lunch for those in need at The Mission)
May 8 - Jump Rope for Heart (donations can be made on line or through the school)
May 9 - Mother's Day Celebration 2 p.m. (invitations sent home in mailbag on April 28)
May 13 - Ottawa Walking Day
May 29 - Yaki (a morning of singing with Yaki the musician)
We will need volunteers on the morning of Tuesday May 13 in order for us to participate in Ottawa Walking Day. We would like to walk to the Beaver Pond and look for signs of Spring! In order for us to safely participate in this event we will need a minimum of 6 volunteers. Please send me an email (lisa.brennen@ocsb.ca) or write a note in your child's mailbag if you are able to join us. We will walk from approx. 9:10 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
